It's extinct because it perished before it could be found and indentified. Obviously, because you do not have the keen intellect of a liberal environmental scientist, you cannot possibly understand this.

These “scientists” are using the same logic they probably ridiculed when Rumsfeld used it: you have known, knowns, your known, unknown, and your unknown, unknown.

The “50,000 per year” figure comes from their unknown, unknown guesstimate.
