That’s the standard position of most Republican nominees though. even 41 had to change his position to run in ‘88 closer to that.

I’m not saying fred isn’t pro-life, his record seems to indicate that, only that I think it’s more of a “cause” for G.W.B. The fact G.W.B.’s first and only? VETO came on embryonic stem cell funding is telling. So is the fact he tried to sell Miers to us on a pro-life stump. Forgetting that’s not the only thing that defines an acceptable Justice to conservatives, he thought differently.

If I really wanted to analyze him, and I don’t, I’d even state that humanity quotient is what is driving him on illegals and I know it’s doing so in the Mid-East. I think he’s right on the war, wrong on amnesty to the point he seems incapable of seeing it would HURT them and us more then simply enforcing the law.

IMO, G.W.B. is the most pro-Life President we’ve had in decades. More so then even reagan. his problem is that he has no balance and it gets him in trouble, like on that certain issue we’re all fighting now.

I’ve read Fred’s position on stem cells. He’s FOR Adult stem cell research, and against embryonic, because he believes it’s wrong. That’s good to know.
