No one, including members of this club, has the right to exceed the posted speed limit, even if it is in the left lane and he/she has a sign that says “move over”.
I don’t drive slow in the left lane, but no one has a right to break the law.
I've seen your kind ~ out there without a rear-end, trunk lid in the air, bodies all over the road.
And the guy behind you who did all that ~ his head's rolling down the other lanes, delaying people who were willing to obey the law and cooperate so we could all get home.
I absolutely detest it when you spill your blood on the public highways ~ makes my tires sticky.
Never been there, but on any busy multilane road, it’s the same thing. There’s usually a line of semis slowing down to take the exit in the right lane, and some confused dope sitting in the right lane waiting for a break in the traffic. Whenever I’m on a busy road I’m not familiar with, I get in the right lane and stay there, even if it’s crawling along. Sucks, but it’s better than missing an exit and getting lost somewhere you might get killed for the change in your pocket.
Terms and Conditions of Purchase
Left Lane Drivers of America is a diverse, very loosely affiliated group of drivers who share the common objective of removing the congestion from the Left Lanes on our freeways and multi-lane highways by politely encouraging slow drivers to move over.
The Left Lane is supposed to be the passing lane and in many states slow Left Lane drivers can be cited for obstructing traffic. Those who stake out permanent positions for themselves in the Left Lane may in fact become slow moving safety hazards.
In order to actually help slower drivers move right, LeftLaneDrivers.org offers copyrighted windshield decals which boldly and prominently display their unified sentiment in the offending drivers rearview mirror. The decal, which reads MOVE OVER when viewed through a rearview mirror also has a large arrow showing the slower driver where to go.
Although the message minces no words, the idea here is not to be rude or pushy but to offer slow drivers a gentle prod, reminding them of the need to either pick up the pace or make room for those who choose to drive a bit faster. Whats more, in order for this grassroots campaign to be as effective as possible, those who display the Move Over Windshield Decal must be among the best examples of polite, courteous drivers.
To that end, before you purchase your Move Over Windshield Decal, you must promise that you will be careful to observe the driving laws of the state in which you are driving and that you will make every effort to demonstrate the utmost in driving courtesy to other drivers with whom you share the road.
Refunds and Returns - We offer a 30 day, no questions asked, moneyback guarantee. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the Windshield Decal to us in like new condition and we will refund 100% of your purchase price.
Compliance Some cities, counties and/or states may not allow the posting of decals on windshields. It is up to you to make this determination for your particular situation.
Not true
The left lane is for passing the right is for driving. If you are not passing you should be in the right hand lane no matter what speed you are going.
LOL--
Wrong. See the California (and other states) 85th Percentile Speed Rule.
Sorry, never had an accident and never caused one, 53 years old.
Driving is a SKILL!
Fight it out with the retards for the middle-lanes guys.
Yup.
The rice rocket dudes with spoilers will be all over this.
Who’s breaking the law?
Uh, actually, no it’s not. Where I live, we don’t define the left lane as a passing lane, and honestly, we don’t enforce speeding laws as we should. One thing I’ll say for the suburbs, they tend to enforce speeding laws.....against people who are not their residents, in other words, speed traps.
People have a right to live several hours where they work, I personally, chose to put my kids in private school and always live within 15 minutes of where both me and my wife work. America is all about choice. However, those of us who chose to live near to where we work, should not be expecting to have the throughfares in our areas served as any speed goes corridors just because people who run a 50 mile commute need to shave some time off their drive.
This is not like L.A where housing is phonenomenally expensive in town, it’s not, it’s just most people are too lazy to upkeep an aging neighborhood, so they move on and on to newer areas, and then while expecting us to bear the cost of their laziness, vote against every attempt we make to annex them so they may finally bear some fair share of what they expect us to burden.
I have no sympathy for the person who’s desires to go 80 on a heavily congested highway get held up by someone going 65, which actually is the speed limit in the corporate limits on the specific road I am thinking about. What’s even worse is the corridor that we almost moved to a neighborhood off of, where people regularly do 90 on what is not a controlled access road, and then proceed to carry this onto the freeway.
Speeding is something that you do in high school when you’re young, irresponsible, have a souped up car that wasn’t worth much, etc. Once you have a family and are working, it’s rather immature and a danger to motorists.
“Where the hell am I??”
This problem could be solved if the left lane on highways was restricted to males who were born in the US less than seventy years ago.
Wrong again.
I4 in FL does not have an HOV lane (except around Orlando), most roads in FL don't. Still the left lane speed enforcement Nazis and Q-tips insist on blocking the left lane.
They either don't know the law or don't care.
Some common sense, courtesy, and knowing the rules of the road would go a LOOOONNNGGG way to solving traffic and road rage.

In most states (unfortunatley NC is not one of them) it is just as illegal to drive in the left lane when you are not passing as it is to speed. I guess you can choose which law to break unless the idiot in the left lane makes your choice for you.
It's just part of the cost/benefit analysis approach to government services fostered by the Republican Congress (since 1994).
You might win a few battles with slowskis driving in the left lane, but while your attention is diverted you are losing the battle.
