Even if the Government's power were illegitimate, it can never admit that its power IS illegitimate.

There you have it! It's okay for the government to break the law and possibly kill innocent people in the process to provide the fiction of legality. If the government admits its income tax power is illegitimate and dissolves it, that would be a good thing.

The American People who voted for the representatives who passed those various laws regarding income tax presumably would not agree. They regard this government as legitimate. They regard its tax power as legitimate.

If you wish to convince them to change their tax laws you have the right to attempt to do so. Until you actually convince them to change the laws I suggest strongly that you abide by the tax laws that the American People, through their elected representatives, have passed.

Attempting to invoke some foolish pseudo-legal mumbo-jumbo that the income tax does not exist, and can therefore be ignored, is an affront to the sovereign right of the American People to make the laws under which they live. Those who attempt to live their lives without complying with the tax law accept a high probability that their future lifestyle will be grossly impaired. And when their own actions bring them to misfortune, they will whine and complain about how unfair it all is. Just like the Browns are doing right now. They had their day in court. And they were convicted by a jury of their peers. They are the lawbreakers here, no one else.
