I'm going to display my absolute ignorance of air power when I ask: What if the goal is NOT to just dogfight the Israeli Air Force? What if the goal is to just get one fighter within striking distance of a high value Israeli civilian or governmental target?

Poland helps the ally and participated in the occupation on other people. So Poland got free and soon became the occupier herself. So why Poland whine about the occupation on herself if she likes to do the same to others?

people of occupied countries usually fight with opressors, never heard about that? If Russia wouldn’t attack Poland occupy it there wouldn’t be any need for polish corps in Napoleon’s army.

Poland helped Czechoslovakians against Nazis... and Russians helped Nazis kill Poles... it does make a difference... Unless you like nazis, that wouldn’t surprise me, soviets like you always liked nazis as they have much in common.

The difference is that Poles didn’t went there to take over country, partition it and make it part of Poland, Poles do not kill innocent people, Russians usually do that.

In 1920 Poland attacked Russia weakend by bolshevik’s terror and civil war. Polish troops even seized Kiev but were kicked out by Red Army, which nearly conquered Warsaw afterwards.
