Those M&P’s must be flying off the shelf, not to mention they brought back some of the blued guns. I alternate between favorites, 4” 686+ or 6” 29. The 686+ fits like a glove, but oh that blue steel 44! Go S&W!
Montana has restrictions, too, no concealed carry in railroad or logging camps! :^)
You are right with that, so I will not point out Illinois' many represive laws.
Here's something our states have in common, or at least as of 2 years ago they did. My wife bought a new Chevy Trail Blazer and at that time I found out that she had to pay an "S.U.V." tax, I think it was around $275, the only two states that had such a tax? Illinois and New Jersey.
I am retired, my wife's job is of a nature that she can live anywhere in the U.S. and we are actively looking for real estate in Missouri. I have lived here for around 40 years. Enough is enough. Illinois' laws will not change in my lifetime. The state is run by Chicago liberals and that's not going to change. It did not take me 40 years to realize that but my job, property and family ties have kept me here. No more.
I was in a Wal-Mart yesterday (disclaimer, everything I bought was made in USA) and went to check some ammo prices. Not only was ammo not cheaper than elswhere, the locked display case was tiny.
Go to a local gun show. You’ll find everything you need/want at good prices.
Oh, I have some good local stores & online spots I buy from. I was just doing a spot price check on Wal-Mart. Actually it wasn’t the price that was discomforting but the trend of so many stores that once sold ammo at large volumes and low prices now getting out of the business.
I like the stores where the ammo is stacked on shelves for a couple of aisles and you can actually touch and read the box. And they run sales.
eh -Im an old fart and like my ruger security six and super redhawk 44
I can think fast let alone be expected to shoot fast LOL
Hell even my ex wife is planning on buying a gun and she used to be a died in the wool liberal about them.
I wouldn't care to be on the messy end of either.
