You are right with that, so I will not point out Illinois' many represive laws.
Here's something our states have in common, or at least as of 2 years ago they did. My wife bought a new Chevy Trail Blazer and at that time I found out that she had to pay an "S.U.V." tax, I think it was around $275, the only two states that had such a tax? Illinois and New Jersey.
I am retired, my wife's job is of a nature that she can live anywhere in the U.S. and we are actively looking for real estate in Missouri. I have lived here for around 40 years. Enough is enough. Illinois' laws will not change in my lifetime. The state is run by Chicago liberals and that's not going to change. It did not take me 40 years to realize that but my job, property and family ties have kept me here. No more.
