So, the Texas Legislature should override his veto. Perry is obviously in thrall to developers and agencies that want this expanded power. In short, he’s a country club republican.

I’ll not EVER give him my vote for any office he ever seeks again. All the good that one does over time can be erased with one really boner - and this is Perry’s political death certificate, at least as far as I’m concerned.
