It would be really cool to put an swimming pool in a VIP A380.

To be fair - it was not AF1 she wanted, but more like AF2... or anything that could make the trip nonstop...

But what are facts?

IIRC there are 2 matching 747's. AF1 is whichever plane the president is on at the time. I'm not sure if the plane is called AF2 strictly when the VP is on it, or even if it is "officially" ever designated as AF2.

There are 2 matching 747s, you are right... The VP’s plane is normally one of the 757s (called a C-32a). When the VP is on board, it is designated as “Air Force Two”. The First Lady has also used a C-32a regularly (since they were delivered in 1998).
