Postulates, hypotheses and theories should not be taught as given fact.

You are correct, they shouldn't. But only theories with testable scientific hypotheses should be taught.

"God did it" is not one of them.

Theories should not be “taught”. They should be mentioned and explored, and not assumed to be true.
