We may end up thanking Teddy and W. This just may be what mobilizes this country to finally take it back. Maybe this is what that evil genius Karl Rove was thinking about (I doubt it).
He is not a genius. He is dysfunctional analytically. He knows a mountain of statistics, but they relate to yesterday's attitudes. He does not understand how to change attitudes, in a desired direction, and has had Bush trying to out Clinton, Clinton, on social issues for six years, to Bush's destruction.
I stand by my earlier analysis of Rove: Karl Rove Revisited.
Do you doubt me? Why would any rational person forbid a popular Congressman like Tom Tancredo from entering the White House, even if you disagreed with his views? What was Rove to gain for Bush in that? It was an act out of the frustration of a man who knew he could not actually answer Tancredo's argument.
