Problem is only 57,000 people saw that clip as of yesterday. Not near enough to get elected.
That is not the only place it was posted. It had been viewed over 100,000 times within a day or two.
Maybe only 57000 have seen it on YouTube, but how many on Breitbart or on Fox News, etc?
Uhh try again. That video is on Youtube in more than one incarnation. After 2 seconds of looking, there’s one that has 63,050 views, one with 40,471 views, one with 65,235 views, and I’m sure there are more but I don’t have the time to find them all. Adding to the one that you saw that’s 225,756 people that saw that clip. And I’m sure there are lots more.
That particular upload of it, yes.
The problem is that it’s been uploaded multiple times on Youtube, plus it didn’t even originate on Youtube.
Multiple millions of people have seen that clip, as well as the many of his other speeches and interviews. All of Fred’s videos have gone viral. Which is why the notion that ‘nobody knows anything about Fred Thompson’ and that they are supporting a ‘rorschach test’ are so laughably false.
Does he need to back it up with more? You betcha. But those of us who have been familiar with Fred for many years are very sure that he can and will do just that.
I wouldn’t worry about it. He’ll be in the debates. But he’s been doing the right thing by skipping the pathetic ones that were so early on. They were nothing but a sideshow attraction intended to embarrass all involved. I think the reason many people are so upset that Fred skipped those first 3 ‘debates’ is because they wish their guy had thought of the idea!
And how many saw it replayed and discussed on Fox News? CNN? Other media outlets? How many read about it on FR and blogs?
Fred's thinking outside the box. You're not.
Where are you getting this number from?
Response continued...
In a quick search of youtube alone, Mr. Thompson's video response has been viewed 182,891 times.
This does not include the hits it had at Breitbart.tv, where it debuted, and was linked to by Drudge (and Drudge's site averages 15 million views a day).
This also doesn't include the myriad of other sites that posted his video, and ABC played it as well.
Simply put, you are wrong.
I saw it on TV. How can that be measured?
