My reaction to Carter has gone in phases. Voted against him but tried to support him as president. His administration was such an embarrassment at the time you just couldn't deny it. After he left office I realized he had done horrible things to us (e.g. Iran) and that he either always was or later became an extreme leftist.
He’s a real man
Very tough call on whether Carter is a true anti-semite, or just a left wing extremist. I vote for both.
Must of been a nationwide brain-fart.
Details!
The crowd demands details!
reminds me of:
Buzz: “You are a sad, strange little man, and you have my pity. Farewell.”
As some of you may know, stories going into tomorrow's newspaper are given temporary titles to identify them for internal use, before their actual titles are written and assigned. This particular story was the full text of one of Carter's State of the Union Addresses.
The temporary title given to Carter's Address remained on it until the early editions of the Globe hit the street, which is why the Editor of that edition got fired. The title was:
"More Mush from the Wimp."
Congressman Billybob
Latest article, "Bar Fight in the Blue Ridge: The Battle for NC 11"
according to carter’s logic, it would be ok for elected democrats to take republicans out in the streets and shoot them
what a pud
Worst US President of the 20th Century....out of office since Jan. 20 1981 and still making a mess of things.....26 plus years and counting.......the four years that he was in the WH well, history speaks for it’s self....
Nice one.....Jimmy Carter is truly a fiend of the Dark Side....
The Israeli version of, "Bless his little heart"? ;-)
“I think its scary this man was ever President of the US.”
It was not only him as President. Take a walk down memory lane some time and check out his cabinet. Talk about a group of second string unaccomplished nobodys. They were big-time “liberals” long before the term was invented.
Yep!
Maybe thats what he’s suggesting?
It’s a lot more than scary; it’s downright dangerous now because the fellow was President. I remember his announcement which of course was televised. The pause and smile that followed his declaration was odd. The self absorption seemed so evident, and the lack of wisdom was to me an inescapable suspicion. I thought that the candidacy would be a sideshow - certainly not one that would last more than a few days. But you may remember the press calling him a JFK look-alike, and that combined with Nixon/Ford hatred gave him momentum. (Please Jerry, don’t say that Poland is free!!) So it was an hellacious four years, with consequences we still suffer, and the only pleasure being pulling the lever for Mr. Reagan.
Netanyahu’s making the rounds. He’s on CNN later this hour.
JFK like?
Hahahahahahahahahahahaha
