I never watched the Sopranos, but from what I have heard I thought it was the Clinton’s Biography, severely edited of course, to give them the appearance of having a smidgen of class and compassion.
LOL! What I love about this is the irony that just like the Soprano family, the Clintons are criminals! HAHA!!
so, the Littlerock Mafia likes the Jersey Mafia....Madonne, who cares.
i tried to remain objective and upbeat about this commercial. after all, i am not in the mood for campaigning yet.
but i just watched it a second time and i just have to comment. this ad sucks big time for so many reasons.
1. hillary is dressed professionally; bill looks like a shlump. obviously she's the professional and he's the casual, relaxed bubba boy. this indicates disrespect for males. the woman is in charge. she knows what she's doing. he doesn't.
2.the carrots on the table. she says authoritatively, "i ordered for the table," looks over with a WISE and superior nod. he whines, "no onion rings?" she says, "just lookin' out for you." again, we see the obvious connection with the nation. we can just imagine the superior schoolmarm with that "i know better than you" attitude, looking down her nose at the rest of us regarding health care, military action, higher taxes, school reform, etc. THERE WILL BE NO ONION RINGS ON HILLARY'S WATCH.
3. they're terrible phony actors. the music is the only thing that carries the action.
4. the song sucks BIG TIME. it is written and sung by a canadian.
5. the song is not inspiring. it conveys all the fears we have about hillary....the fear that she, the flying hawk, will scoop us all up into her claws and take us places we DON"t want to go, but we won't be able to help it because we are only the little "you" of the you and IIIIIIIIII of the song.
6. the song is an older chick song. once again, its choice conveys that the opinions of men are not needed or wanted.
7. overall, i'd say this commercial stinks.
A make believe President for a very real war on terror. Ummmm??? I don’t like those odds.
Bill and Hillary aka Ralph and Janice!
This video portends nothing but good. It displays a fundamental lack of understanding of the medium it seeks to exploit. Social media is not your father’s Oldsmobile.
The more her campaign seeks to capitalize on what they don’t understand, the more it highlights to their target market just how out wincingly out of step she is. Is there anything as pathetic as a middle-aged dork pretending she’s hip? Especially one who was never hip to begin with, ever?
The sexy-Obama video took off precisely because it wasn’t staged by the campaign. The Clinton campaign appears not to grasp that the hit counters on YouTube don’t distinguish between those who click on out of interest and support, and those who click on to ridicule.
I'd like to see her as a guest on Gorgeous Tiny Chicken Machine Show
I mean lookit how many times ZZ Top came to visit, or even Ozzy. /sarcasm
These old has been hippies think we all worship Brabra because she sings through her nose. Man they are pathetic!
