Someone needs to tell the world that the world only exists because of its Creator, that right and wrong are based exclusively on His decrees, and that no "right" exists that He did not bestow (and no "right" exists to violate His commandments).
The notion of self-existent "rights" and a self-existent objective morality is every bit as terrifying as the notion of a self-existent universe (to which they are probably connected). And what is even more terrifying is that these "enlightenment" concepts are held to be "self-evident" (in that paragon of "enlightenment," Thomas Jefferson's words).
Strange how people who boast of critical, independent thought are so dependent on the "self-evidence" of their beliefs!
