No one (except some mathematicians possibly) would make that sort of claim...but there are times when killing some to save many is just a choice that must be made. When President Bush gave the shoot down order on the morning of September the 11th, that was the choice he made. As far as we know, the permission was never used, but how would you have felt about him had an airliner been shot down?
