geoengineering
We've been doing geoengineering for thousands of years. For example we are no longer at the mercy of the rain gods because we developed the technology to build dams, aqueducts, and methods of flood control. Earth couldn't support 6 billion people without geoengineering. We build roads, bridges, tunnels, move mountains and forests. All this is geoengineering. Cloud control is just another technology we can use to make life better. I sure hope our military is researching cost effective weather management methods since most leaps in technology originate from the military developing new weapons. Most experiments will fail but we can't move forward without trying. Are you upset about this? If the military develops effective weather control the whole global warming scare is over. Developing new technology is not only cost effective, it is also the source of America's wealth.
Thanks for the response.
No, I am not upset about geoengineering.
I am upset that our elected representatives are not allowed in the decision-making process. Also, I am upset there is no accounting of how the government spends our money on these geoengineering projects.
On point, should we citizens have a voice whether or not we development "cloud control technology?"
Evidently TPTB think our involvement would only complicate the progress and make it more expensive.

On point, should we citizens have a voice whether or not we development "cloud control technology?" California and Nevada can't even agree on how to divy up the water from a single river. How are we going to get people to decide where it is hot, where it is cold, where we get rain, and where it is dry? (Assuming of course, that we could accomplish those things).
