It shouldn’t be long before the Russians call this purely defensive weapon a “threat to world peace” and the successful testing of it a “provocative act.”

a “provocative act.”

....that will assuredly "lead to another Cold War."

Ya know, the Russians are playing power games with us regarding missle defense. Contrary to popular opinion, the Russians still have enought nuke-tipped missles to kill the planet many times over. Putin's oversized ego and his political standing is what makes him whine so loudly.

There is NO threat to Russia. He knows that. These defensive anti-missle defenses are for the rogue nations. He just wants to be a player on the International stage. MAD is still in effect with Russia.

You bet, the Russians absolutely hate missile defense. They did everything they possibly could to get Ronald Reagan to negotiate away development of missile defense systems, and I’m sure they’re pounding the State Dept. on it right now. Thank God Reagan wasn’t the wuss that Jimmy Carter was and is.
