Media reports tend to be wildly inaccurate in the early stages of any such incident. One has to take them with a grain of salt.
The facts will eventually make their way into daylight, and when they do I suspect they will point to this guy's guilt (and possible others' too). My only point is the fact that one can't be 100% certain of anything until the facts are out.
I cannot imagine how 4 separate news organizations had the same quote from the sheriff, and even Fox News denied that it was corroborated. Then everything was proven accurate an hour or two later on Fox. Believe what you want. I say the guy is guilty as sin. Fry him.
