Red - This is the same memo that NPR had up last week.
McGirk is a traitor actively working for the interests of the enemy. All those in his organization that had any say or input or authority over him and his writing are also guilty. Every one of them should be dropped on the end of a rope.
The same goes for every msm organization that has played this game in this and every other issue that was designed to weaken resolve in this war effort and/or feed the will of the enemy to resist.
...all enemy, foreign and domestic.
Thanks for posting. America’s finest! BTTT!
Question: The “story” states that a witness claimed the bodies were gone, then who are the people in the body bags? I also remember that Michelle Malkin exposed McGirk with his phony pictures. A photo claiming to be “murdered” victims was actually a photo of people executed by al-Qaeda. Anybody else remember that?
This is such a non-story. Let the Marines do their job.
Semper Fi
Yep, gotta protect the credibility of that fat POS Murtha at any cost, he's one of theirs.
BUMP and a ping:
Red: You won’t read it in the New York Times, but the hearing officer said, after all of McGirk’s evidence was actually examined:
Evidence does not support murder case.
jaz: Exactly! The Slimes has had that info for a week but didn’t include it in this article. They don’t report news, they promote propaganda.
Did the lefties at NPR comment on it?
It's one thing to shrug off a suggestion that a story we've read or watched is biased -> there's almost as many on the left that make that claim as there is on the right, so after awhile it can fade into background noise.
But when the Object of the story - in this case, Marine Corps officers, are so certain that they will be misrepresented by the press that memos such as these are crafted in defense, it lends a great deal of credibility to claims of a dishonest, manipulative press out to make, rather than report the news. That they purposely left out both Sharratt & Stone's exoneration's by their IOs - the only IO recommendations to date are to NOT to proceed to court martial - this will seal the deal for anyone taking the time to find out if the story & it's reporter has any credibility.
As Red wrote, obviously this information has leaked from the DOD. freema recently posted an article portraying a Hurculean effort by pretty much the entire gallery of intelligence/defense/justice departments in this country to investigate an imprison anyone who profiteered from the war.
While I think it's just swell that there's an ability for all those agencies to work so closely in such amazingly complex cases - and keep it perfectly secret while they were about their revered duty to the American taxpayer, I can't help but wonder why they couldn't have spent 5 more minutes finding our who in these same departments are deliberately leaking selective classified information to the press for the current purpose of destroying these Marines and undermining the war on terror.
I suppose it's the same reason they couldn't be bothered to investigate all the other leaks to the press that put our defenders, be it Marines or spies or foreign governments that help us in harms way.
Personally, I think the only reason for the profiteering investigations were to try to find anything that would embarrass the President and, particularly, the Vice President.
Yes, we’re still waiting to find out how and who leaked the NCIS report to WaPo way back in January. Wonder how that investigation is going?
boats, Feinstein was on one of the morning shows talking about how talk radio is ‘one-sided’ and how she’s looking into fairness laws.
If Feinswine wants ‘talk radio’ that promotes the Democrat agenda of turning America into a French-style, secular-socialist welfare state then she can simply try to find a charismatic host who will appeal to the athiests, condom throwers, abortion enthusiasts, gold-chained union thugs, America-hating malcontents, welfare addicts, and the rest of the losers, parasites, and goofballs who comprise the Democrat “base”.
Good luck with that, Feinswine.
They pretty much have the television news wrapped up. I don’t know why in the sam hill she’s worried about fairness!
