Democrats in the state Legislature finally agreed last week on a government health care plan. If that doesn't scare you, the details should. Senate and Assembly Democrats combined their separate proposals to:
•Impose a 7.5 percent payroll "fee" on employers who don't already spend at least that much on employee health insurance, with the ability for bureaucrats to raise the fee later without legislative approval.
•Provide no exceptions for even the smallest business.
•Require insurance companies to sell coverage to anyone except those people the government determines have "serious" medical conditions.
•Establish a tax-subsidized fund to insure people with serious medical conditions.
•Create a tax-subsidized program to provide insurance for every child.
Democrats decided not to force every individual to buy health insurance, which Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger still seeks in his version of government health-care nirvana.

I don't even know what it means? What is the "concept" of universal health coverage? Everyone having health coverage? - Sure. Everyone in the world or just the US? Must the government provide it? Who must pay? Who gets a pass? Is everyone forced to join the government plan?

It means the stupid people in California are voting (In this Poll) to have Health Care Insurance paid for by the taxpayers at a rate of 52% to 38%

In order to convince us all of the viability of universal free high-quality no-wait-in-line accessibility health care, Flint Fats, Hillary and all the others pushing the program should pool their obscene fortunes and actually fund a medical center practicing this form of medicine. Let them show us that it works to supply all care all the time to all people for all conditions first before stealing our money to run their show.
