Rice for 'Strong Message' to Stop Syrian Intimidation in Lebanon U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice called Sunday on the international community to send a "very strong message" to Syria that any continued interference in Lebanon would not be tolerated. Asked about the failure of the latest Arab League mission to re-launch an inter-Lebanese dialogue, Rice decried what she said were Syrian intimidation attempts in Lebanon.
"There needs to be a very strong message to Syria that that is not going to be tolerated," she told journalists flying with her to Paris, where she is set to participate Monday in a conference on Sudan's Darfur region.
"So anyone who talks to Syria needs to be sending that very strong message," she added

Rice: Strong message, strong message, strong message to Syria.
Rice: Bla bla effing bla.
They've been helping kill our guys in Iraq for 4, count them FOUR years now, and allies in Lebanon, and now UN peacekeepers, and 241 Marines back in the 1980's, and the list goes on...
Yeah, strong message will do it.

When 50%, or more, of the American people and the US Congress want to run away from Iraq, where do you think you are going to get the votes to go to war with Syria?
Don’t like the “Strong message”? Well guess what bucko, that about all most of your fellow Americans have the guts for anymore.

Condi's going to send them a strongly worded letter. That should take care of it.
Bolton should have been Sec State.

The Rice foreign policy has disastrous consequences in the middle east. She can’t tell the enemies form the good guys.
She gave M-16s and munitions to the palestinians all the while proclaiming to be an ally of Israel. These guns will be firing American bullets at the Jewish Defense Forces and Jewish civilians.

Is this "strong message" similar to the very effective (/s) strong message that we sent to Iran?

Any strongly worded message that doesn't include the statement “and only when you comply with all our demands we will stop the carpet bombing.” is unlikely to get their attention. Face it without the credible threat of force no words have meaning in international politics. And with the Surendercrats in control of Congress we are no longer credible.

SAY what the strong message is. WE have been sending messages to people all over and somehow they are not listening. SAY what the so called strong message is and JUST DO IT!!!!
To: beckaz
Yes, please, send a STRONG MESSAGE that their actions won’t be tolersted, and then when it is ignored, send a STERN MESSAGE, then perhaps a STERNLY STRONG one. Our Gov’t is ridiculous at times.

She also decided to propose a meeting about having a meeting that details an outline of a proposed draft concerning a letter of reprimand which in it lays out the guidelines of a harshly worded letter in its strictest terms.
