Obviously this particular decision will go with the NTTA folks, with backroom assurances that Cintra (who is courting a few other “projects”) will let this go with a little bit of whining...Just to save a little political face...

The more we understand that all of this is not going to go away, not will it go our way in the long run...

I am not sure what else we can do, that we are not already doing...And the more they can marginalize our protests to the overall “plan” to sell our state and our countries soverienty and security away, for the good of someone else’s economy...

We may need bigger drums to beat...And I am not so sure we’ll get anyone else higher up on the food chain to jump on the stage and yell with us on all of this...

I’m open for ideas actually...

Actually, assuming that the TTC in some fashion and name will eventually be built, this may not be an unreasonable solution. That is, give the immediate areas in the metro regions first crack at those sections and thereby help generate additional revenue for other transportation needs locally and let the private funding projects go to the connector and more rural sections, example: north Austin area to south DFW area.
