Just when you think the loony left can't get any more deranged and hateful toward George W. Bush, someone comes along and further lowers the bar.
Former Washington Post sportswriter, "Seinfeld" writer and executive co-producer Peter Mehlman did just that today in a Huffington Post article (h/t Ace) which said that President Bush is actually worse than Hitler because at least the German dictator meant well when he was trying to exterminate Jewish people.
The article has been removed and restored today from the HuffPo. Luckily, Yahoo has a copy which I reproduce here in full just in case someone yanks it from both sites. As is often the case with liberals, Mehlman is incapable of expressing himself without using profanity:

Articles like these simply “open the eyes” of more and mroe conservatives who, for too long, have believed that smart facts and good reasoning will win? Liberals and terrorists are alike in that neither gives a sh*t about rules, decency, laws or the rights of others?
The liberals have lowered the bar so far it’s gone completely through the Earth and come up again from the other side.
Liberalism is a mental disorder, but this is just evil.
As long as these people continue to have disproportionate influence over the Democrat Party, we’re in good shape.
Their own hatred of Bush may well distract them from doing what they really need to do to win in 2008. We’ve already seen that in the Democrat debates, where it seemed like they think Bush is running for a third term.

Absolutely. I was astonished to hear a liberal acquaintance angrily say to me “Don’t talk to me about civil rights” when I brought up Billary’s support of the atrocity called partial birth abortion. Meanwhile I was accused of immorality because I don’t believe in the manmade global warming hoax.

I’d start asking questions like “doesn’t this guy realize that he sounds like a loon?’ but I think we already know the answer.
