BTW - Thompson being drafted by people rejecting Hunter and all others has to be one of the most frustrating things that could happen to any Hunter supporter. Ron Paul supporters feel exactly as Hunter supporters feel and the fact is, if it’s all about career voting records, Paul is far to the right of Hunter.

So if your argument is, you plan to damn the torpedos in support of whoever is the candidate farthest to the right, Hunter still isn’t the man.

Hunter and Paul, like all “second tier” candidates, are equal dark horse long-shots at best, politically speaking. They all have an equal chance of winning, which is almost none.

So if you’re going to go down in flames on principle, at least pick the man farthest to the right.

Why not make a real statement?

I like Thompson and Hunter, but Hunter is the best man. The reason Thompson has more name recognition is because he is an actor.

True conservatives will eventually see that Hunter is the best man, and more conservatives will start to pay better attention after the summer fun is over.
