Since his arrest last fall on charges of sexually assaulting several teenage girls, Scott Shefelbine was supposed to be under house arrest with electronic monitoring at his parents' Tolland home.
But a warrant for his arrest, obtained by West Hartford police and released this week, indicates that the 32-year-old not only has been using a computer, apparently in violation of the terms of his bail, but has been traveling to West Hartford to meet with an underage girl, also in apparent violation of the terms of his bail.
West Hartford police charged him last week with risk of injury to a minor and two counts of disorderly conduct. He posted $100,000 bail and remains free on bail that is in excess of $1 million on all of his pending cases.

Put him in jail, lock the door, and throw away the key, if not for life, at least until he is old and wrinkled.

Maybe if he pleads guilty to using a computer and to meeting girls, they’ll drop the murder charge.

That’s too much to hope for. And I’m not sure that would solve the problem.
What an eye opener! She said thay since they have "a revolving door sort of thing going on" that the state actually helps pay rent and bills for sexual offenders who keep going back into jail for repeat offenses. She explained that this is good because it helps their transition back to society easier and so on and so forth.
WA also started to refuse to give out information on sexual predators to landlords, as a matter of privacy (stopped giving that info this year).
My wife was completely shocked at how this state worker seemed to coddle the criminals. I simply replied "welcome to the liberal mindset!".

Judges and Parole Board members have no problem with freeing killers, rapists, child molesters upon society. After all, the halfway homes aren’t next door to them. But if they were, you can be darn sure they’d be a lot more careful about who they let out.

Oh, I know that it would make a great deterrent. I just don’t think it would keep the neutered offender from wanting to offend again and finding some sicko alternative way to do it.

I’ll never watch Mencia again after learning that he’s a joke theif. He steals most of his material, almost word for word, from other comics. Google “joe rogan carlos mencia theif” to see for yourself.
Thanks for the info...I never saw that side of it. Funny that a regular person just thinks that these types disappear.
