Second car was illegally parked - and taken away. Folks smel gas - heard of the mornings events and caled the police who took over.
Sky News has now confirmed that the second car did contain a second device.

Surprising the images have not been released.
They will want to get them out within the next couple of hours so to make the morning papers.

The IRA generally don’t fail in their bomb attempts - and I think its extremely unlikely the real IRA would attempt to pull this sort of thing off.

Police have confirmed that not one, but two massive car bombs were set to explode in the heart of London’s West End.
The first car, in Haymarket, was a metallic green Mercedes packed with petrol, gas cannisters and nails, and was defused after police were alerted by an ambulance crew called to an incident at a nearby nightclub.
The second was in a car that was illegally parked nearby and towed to the Park Lane car pound.
Staff there alerted police because “it smelled of gas.”

OK, so I did hear correctly—two separate bombs in cars. I pray there are not more of these incidents.
I just saw a report that one of the perps has already been recognized from the surveillance cameras, and he was once detained before and released. If true, surprise, surprise.

While London reels from this attempted mass murder our congressional democrats are harrassing the White House with subpoenaes over “terrorism-era warrantless wiretapping. The Democrats don’t want the US government spying on suspected al-Qaida cells. We are living in unreal times.
I doubt they see the irony in this.
Our major media must see the irony. It seems that they are trying to bury this story today. It was the last API story on the Goggle News site.

Thank you for your tagline. I needed to hear this today. I am disgruntled like so many Americans over this Amnesty Bill. I feel we NEED to speak up to the President when we feel he is wrong, but in the end, we need to pray daily for him. I feel convicted of that today.
