Conservative media blogger Brian Maloney: “While today’s vote prevents using taxpayer dollars to fund any reimplementation of the agency’s past policy, the real test will come after the 2008 presidential election. That’s when an elected Democrat president would have the opportunity to stack the FCC with the party’s own directors, which would mean an almost certain reimposition of free speech- stifling regulations. If Congress remains in Democrat hands, this scenario would be even more likely.”

So what did the conservative, who was afforded equal time to balance out Kerry's viewpoint, have to say about this?

How about how he claimed to have run the Boston Marathon but couldn’t recall the year?

I contacted Frank Porter, Vice President of the Board of Governors of the Boston Marathon and asked him about Kerry's claim to have competed in the Boston Marathon. I didn't care if he finished or not -- my question was, was he entered?

Porter refused to comment.

Fairness Doctrine is just like the hate speech rule... That is, "We the liberal Democrats, gays, etc. can say anything we want to but the rest of you folks cannot talk back to us."

Is it Talk Radio's fault that American citizens are sick to death of the liberal bloviating on the air waves and in the newspapers they control? Is it Talk Radio's fault that the liberals are so stupid that they don't know that Americans don't want the opinion of the anchor reporting the news? Americans just want the "Who! What! Where! Why! How! We don't need Brian Williams', Katie Couric's, or Charlie Gibson's opinion on the story. We are quite capable of deciding for ourselves the merit of the story. Liberals need to get a clue. Americans know that liberals are liars. And, the folks are sick of these very boring people.

Long live Talk Radio... it's a town meeting where except for expletives, a person can voice his/her opinion whatever that opinion may be... bravo!!!

I’ll agree to support the Fairness Doctrine so long as it is expanded to include each and every movie, television show, newspaper, book, etc.

That means I expect Ann Coulter to receive equal time on Comedy Central with Jon Stewart for starters.

Our country wasn’t founded on fairness. It was founded on allowing each person to have the freedom to seek his own goals to the best of his ability without interference by a government. The fact that some people are better at it than others is just the way it is. Anything less is a loss of freedom.

What the heck does this mean? If he said “wiped out the balance of power” or called talk radio a “profound change” it would make his ramblings more clear. But, if you take him at his word - always a risky gamble - there was a “profound change in the balance of media” (lib domination) and talk radio “wiped it out”. Obviously, “Fairness” must be restored.

Here’s how it works. If you don’t like “talk radio,” you don’t have to listen, and you don’t have to pay for it. If you don’t like NPR, you don’t have to listen, but you do have to pay for it. How’s that for fairness, Sen. Kerry?

Having looked into his phony military career and his elitist attitude, my guess would be..... Was he entered?....NO!...(elitist don't have to!) Did he run in it?........Yes,... He probably waited behind a car, 1/4 mile from the finish, doused himself with French spring water to represent sweat, and was filmed crossing the finish line....

This fairness doctrine annoys me. We need to get on the offensive instead of just whining.

1. We need to force the government to define what is political comment. This would allow us to attack liberal voices as they plan to attack conservatives. Right now anything liberal like NPR is given a pass under the name of community information.
2 We need this to apply to TV also. What is the difference between TV and Radio waves. Easy...Radio is controlled by Conservative voices.
3. We need to let the government know we will defend the conservative right to speak and shut this down like we did the Immigration vote.
