Hmmm. Britain has let in less than 1m muslims in the last 50 years and including second and third generation muslims born here now has around 1.7m muslims. Muslim immigration is declining sharply. Catholicism is our fastest growing religion.
The US has open borders, somewhere between 5 and 20 million muslims depending on who’s guessing, it’s your fastest growing religion and your muslim immigration is sharply rising.
When is America going to ‘get it’ before it’s too late?

The defeat of the "Immigration Reform" bill and its associated opinion polls indicate that most Americans "get it". Unfortunately, most of our government does not, yet.
It's the loud, obnoxious, annoying minority who obstruct and thwart what is normally a very reasonable populace.
But is there a difference? My observation is that in the US, Muslims tend to be more geographically distributed, integrated with the general population (with a few exceptions), and earn a living. Whereas my impression from the media is that in Europe, the opposite is true. I'd be interested in your serious comments on my observations.
