In my opinion, this was pretty clearly a coup d'etat against the Republic. You could kiss our society goodbye forever if this thing, or anything like it, had passed. With all those 30 million illegal foreigners already occupying our country, this legitimization of them would have permanently de-legitimized us!
This was an attempted coup d'etat.
