Islam means submission to the Oneness of Allah and Allah’s law (sharia).
There is no tolerance.. there is no co-existance ... there is none of that and being a good Muslim at the same time.
For Bush to declare that we will bring them plurality and we are their friend INFLAMES Muslims.
Now in reality you and I both know plurality and all that is just what is needed over there... BUT SHARIA WONT PERMIT IT.
Therefore, for him to say the US is against sharia law and that we will work against sharia IT’S THE SAME THING AS DECLARING A CRUSADE.

As it would happen I know a great deal about Islam. I’m keenly aware of the threat it poses to civilization. I also know what it would mean to suddenly declare war on 1.5 billion of them at once.
