I agree, it is not an act, he is really clueless until someone prompts him.

I will never forget the look on his face in that classroom when he was told of the attack on 9/11.

He just kept reading the kids book, he looked absolutely clueless on how to act as he sat there alone

I almost felt sorry for him yesterday. (Well, until I remembered how hard he has tried to destroy U.S. sovereignty and what terrible things he and his “leadership” have said about the non-illegal alien public.) He looked like he had lost a family member or worse. He looked almost scared :(

It is a family trait.

I have a vivid memory of the first hours after Saddam invaded Kuwait on 41's watch.

The news broke a little before midnight, Eastern time. I said, "Holy crap! This means a little war. This ain't just human rights...this is geo-politics and OIL! Saddam will have to be driven out of there."

Early, the next morning Bush41 had a breakfast cabinet meeting and the media got to him for a quick question. The only point he wanted to make was that although this was distressing, it certainly didn't mean war or anything like that.

Later that day, Maggie Thatcher happened to arrive for a visit. She sat him down and 'splained it to him. Then they stepped out in front of the microphones and he drew "a line in the sand," "this will not stand," yadda yadda.

He had no clue until Maggie laid it out for him.

I never thought that 41 was a stupid man, although he was a pretty lousy president. But those Bushes pride themselves on being ACTION men, bush-wackers, speedboad drivers. They think the winner in a golf game is the one who gets to the 18th green the fastest. They are not into reflection. They are not suitable for the White House, to say the least.
