This is BS.
I saw a 70 year old man fire the same number of shots in that timeframe using the same rifle.
Hmmmmmmm.....maybe HE shot Kennedy!
I think the argument is the time and accuracy. Oswald was not a “crack shot” sniper. The first shot misses, the second two hit their mark, farther down range and with better accuracy? This, I believe is where the line of questions should go. IMO of course.
“I saw a 70 year old man fire the same number of shots in that timeframe using the same rifle”.
It was just on Discovery or similar TV and the 70 year old “dry fired” 3 shots. he DID NOT shot the rifle and more imporatantly he did not hit any target although he was able to click and cycle the bolt in the Warren Commission 3 shot timeframe. Hardly the same as acurately hitting a moving target with every shot with one of the worst rifles ever made.
But that is only half of the requirements. Did this 70 year old guy hit a moving target, one in the head while shooting thru a tree while the range was lengthening at an oblique angle?
If Oswald had fired the fatal shots from the position assigned to him in the depository, why did he not take the easy shot approaching him at a shortening range because there was also a window that covered that approach just a scant few feet from the alledged firing position. Oswald also failed to qualify EXPERT in the Marines. By all accounts he was a mediocre marine. Working the action is but a small part of making that shot. The 70 year old guy....did he shoot the actual assassination weapon? Of course not. There is no telling if the bolt on that rifle was smooth enough or the sights properly set for the range. Way too many variables to simply assert that your 70 year old guy duplicated the kill shots on JFK. Right?
Ahem.
This was done by an Italian team.
Could your 70 year old man do it while running and firing back over his shoulder?
