Yes, there is. It's called Zenfendel Port.
It was a great show! Kansas was the opening act, another one of my favorite bands.
this should be really, REALLY easy for you: Imagine an Old Student turning green with envy...
;)
I also like Kansas.
Off topic, and probably beaten to death... I apologize for asking (again, most likely), but what was the problem with merlot in the movie Sideways?
LOL. I haven’t had boxed wine in years. But I will tell you this, price doesn’t seem to make a difference to me. What makes a difference to me is growing location. For some reason I cannot stand Australian wines. I will take a bottle of Sutter Home on sale at CVS for $4.99 over that any day. And frankly, enjoy it.
Bump for the wine drinkers in my life
Mad Dog is okay if you’re ridin the Grey Hound. Those in the Upper Crust prefer the Night Train. All aboard!
Too late to swap Upper Crust for Bar Car? It is.
Done left the station.
God, is that as sweet as it sounds?
In the 80s and early 90s, merlot became the hot wine. As a result, a lot of crap wine got labeled merlot and it all got a bad reputation. The funny part is that as a result of "Sideways", winemakers can hardly give away merlot, and there are some great deals to be found on some really excellent examples. TJ's was selling one for $15 a bottle that was originally intended to sell for over $30. They seem to have gone through it now, though. I haven't seen it the last few times I've been there.
The other effect of "Sideways" is that pinot noir is the hot wine, and, just like happened with merlot, a lot of crap wine is coming out with that on the label.
