I think it’s sad that he’s claiming racism.He’s being treated badly...very badly...but it’s because of his moral/political views not his race.A Maoist institution like MIT would have treated him every bit as badly if he was white.

Sounds to me like he's being treated fairly. His scholarship wasn't up to par so he was denied tenure. His appointment ended and instead of acting like an adult and making arrangements to move his stuff over the weekend, he has a hissy fit when he's locked out of his former lab.

A Maoist institution like MIT would have treated him every bit as badly if he was white.
