Why did we even bother separating from England? I could have sworn it was something about people living as they wanted, the pursuit of happiness, not happiness being handed to us in the form of other people's money and the state deciding what's best for us.

You’ve said it like it is. Look at the conditions the Russians were in when the USSR fell. No food, long lines for a loaf of bread, factories still making shoes no one bought, nuclear spills still not cleaned up, oil fields old and rusty and that is just a few things gone haywire under communism. Communism is a wonderful life..........for the elite leaders. This is what the democrats are aiming for.
