The government takes 50% of my income at the point of a gun. Then the government gives my money to illegals, lazy welfare scum, and the “disabled”, who the government deems to be needy.That is socialism which has never worked.The philosophy of socialism is summed up in this statement: “From each according to his ability to each according to his need”. Was this what the founding founders envisioned? Is this huge government with a 2.9 trillion dollar annual federal budget with all its agencies in the constitution?
