John Edwards Wipes Snot on Adoring Fans (Remix)
At least 1 or 2 of the crowd of the Democrats in attendance said “bless you” when he sneezed.

Seriously, aside from the Typhoid Johnnie effects, the guy has awful hygiene habits, touching his nose and eyes like that when he spends so much time shaking the germy hands of Democrats. I wonder if he pays someone $400 to wash his hands?!

It is some kind of commentary on the state of American politics that as Edwards has campaigned for president, vice president and now president again, his hair seems to have attracted as much attention as, say, his position on health care. More accurately, it IS a commentary on the state of Democrat presidential politics.
And, of course, on John Edwards himself...

At least 1 or 2 of the crowd of the Democrats in attendance said bless you when he sneezed. And probably got accused by the local PC police of being "God-ist" and discriminating against those who don't believe in God.

I have hair like Gore’s—very straight, fine, and thick. I think $16 is the most I’ve ever paid to have it cut, and usually I pay around $12. I have been told my hair is hard to cut unless you get an extremely short flat top type cut. I got my hair cut in a black barber shop one time and they charged me two dollars above their posted price.
I think Edwards would be better off with a shorter cut. These stories about outrageous prices and constant primping have been going on for a few years. Isn’t he tired of being ridiculed? It’s only hair.

Can you folks please stop with the personal attacks on my husband? He is trying to save America, you know, and he needs those $1200 haircuts to do it.

“It is some kind of commentary on the state of American politics that as Edwards has campaigned for president, vice president and now president again, his hair seems to have attracted as much attention as, say, his position on health care.”
Maybe the wise Americans would rather have him spend his life fixing his hair rather than “fixing” health care.

Now if Edwards wants advice on a haircut that will not clash with his message, who better to give him advice on tonsorial matters?
And he got more electoral votes than Edwards ever will.

...The Beverly Hills hairstylist, a Democrat, said he hit it off with then-Sen. John Edwards (D-N.C.) at a meeting in Los Angeles that brought several fashion experts together to advise the candidate on his appearance. Since then, Torrenueva has cut Edwards's hair at least 16 times. How metro.
