Miami Vice, Crime Story (anyone remember crime story)...and I guess that’s about it for interesting shows on NBC...and they arent even on anymore.

Crime Story was cool, if for no better reason than the old 1950’s automobiles...back in the day when cars looked like cars, instead of little square boxes like they do now. Even if the story line was lame, I loved watching that show just to see the old cars.

I remember that Saturday nights at one time were owned by NBC — they had a really good comedy block then. Golden Girls was my mother’s favorite. A devout Catholic, she had to hurry home from Mass Saturday nights so she could get out of her church clothes and into her jammies and be ready for when Golden Girls came on. Heaven help you if you tried to change the channel for something else. She’d break your arm. :)
