This is foolish. Congress can’t get anything done these days except investigation and “oversight.” They are no longer a legislative branch.
Maybe we should investigate them for failing to provide the country with any utility whatsoever.

You say this like it is a bad thing. I think it was Walter Williams who said we should pay each of the representatives 1 million dollars a year to stay home and not do anything.
It would be cheaper in the long run.
