Except he was acquitted by a Georgia jury of rape, so it isn't rape. If you want to try and convict him for raping the 17 year old, you're welcome to do your best, but don't get him for consensual sex with someone almost his own age. That's not fair.

In most states, sex with a minor cannot, by definition of statutory rape, be consensual. It doesn't matter. She was 15 and by law could not legally give her consent.

No. Just acquitted in the rape of the 17 yr old. One of the boys was found guilty of unlawful imprisonment since she (the 17 yr old) was locked in the bathroom between, um, "uses".

I said it was an editorial, am I mistaken? Editorials are opinion pieces. I read editorials all the time stating that George Bush should be impeached. I see others saying that Hillary would be a great president. It does not make them correct, just opinions.
Helping get Genarlow out of prison is about number 392 on my list of things to do- right after replacing my toenails. If you’re that concerned about the young fellow, call Rev. Al, donate money and your time. Hell, make it your life’s work- more power to you.
