Perhaps if this case does go to the SCOTUS and there is a ruling AGAINST the 2A, maybe we will finally see who is FOR the 2A and who is AGAINST the 2A. I want to know just who will enforce any confiscatory laws that may be passed by any Congress and signed into law. With over 80 million gun owners possessing over 270 million guns, just who will go knocking on doors to take them? If we suppose that only 20% of the gun owners decide to “KEEP” their guns and will use them to defend their 2A rights, how long do you think it will take to run out of BATFE, FBI, or any other alphabet soup government agency agent to come take them.
If 10 BATFE agents start at one end of a neighborhood in some pro-gun states, I doubt more than 8 will walk away from the first house they approach. Continue a 20% loss per house and I see a definite loss of interest in enforcing this law.
If 20% of the people who own guns take this attitude, then 16 million AMERICANS will be giving government the collective finger. No one in America will stand to see 16 million American homes forcibly invaded and forcibly defended with the resultant casualties. Perhaps the tree of liberty is due for some nourishment from the blood of patriots and the blood of tyrants and their sycophants.

You got that right. The people will also prolly have to define good/bad, hot/cold, up/down, black/white, and the meaning of the word "is" to a government that is just as likely to read an opposite meaning into a word as to read the meaning the way any nine year old kid knows to be correct.
