Frankly, I don't think the comparison is accurate. The Duke players were accused of rape but were acquitted. Are you for the death penalty for convicted rapists? Just asking...

The Duke players were accused of rape but were acquitted.No. They were falsely accused and the charges were dropped. Acquittal means they actually stood trial on the charges. The charges were fabrications of a drug addled prostitute and an ambitious district attorney playing the race card to get re-elected.

The crime as alleged had never occured, thus they could not possibly have committed it.
