I agree. Let's face it: the liberal argument for abortion is based on the fraud of dodging the issue of
when personhood begins. If its established it begins at the moment life is created, the case for abortion collapses completely. Of course in
extremis it may be necessary to save the life of the mother but with modern medical care, even resort to that particular type of abortion should be rare. There is no moral case to be made for abortion on demand. The sanctity of human life should be protected and affirmed in our culture.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
Let's face it: the liberal argument for abortion is based on the fraud of dodging the issue of when personhood begins. And even on that basis, it collapses. If we don't know when life begins, then we don't know that it doesn't begin at conception. And if we can't establish that it doesn't begin at conception, we have a duty to treat it as if it does. If we're wrong, no harm done. If we'r right, we'r saving human lives.
