They used to come here. That business is drying up. Only the filthy rich, the deadbeat illegals from Mexico or the desperate ones who can’t afford to wait a year for their operation in Canada come here now. In the latter case, the Canadians probably don’t yet know about India and Thailand. The rich muzzies are now going elsewhere.

Thats quite smart. It seems on a 150,000$ operation they could pay the person 50,000$ to go out of country and pay for the surgery there, and still come out ahead:).

Given the smiley, you might be surprised to hear that Holland recently contracted a Thai hospital to do 200 heart surgeries on their citizens which the gov't pays for under their health care system for exactly that reason. I think we will see this happen more and more.
