If, God forbid, that the Democrats take the White House and hold Congress in 2008, we can expect car bombings, suicide attacks and even radioactive material laced dirty bombs to be coming to our cities and towns. The Democrat's first response will be it's all George Bush's fault for stirring these people up. Second, these incidents will simply be regarded as police matters not a global threat on the US itself. Lastly there will be attempts to negotiate with the terrorists using people like Jimmy Carter and Jesse Jackson. Needless to say this will only embolden the terrorists more particularly if they can see concessions being made. This will result in more terrorism.

Eventually the American people will revolt at this ineptitude and demand action. I could easily see a military coup against the government as a possibility in this situation. I also see as a possibility a wholesale rounding up of Arab nationals and putting them into camps, the closing of all mosques in the US and popular retaliation against Arab interests in the US. A Democratic sweep in 2008 could well tear our republic apart.

And the very first thing the dims will do in the event of a terrorist attack on their watch is to crack down on and oppress the American citizenry: In typical leftist fashion, they will punish everyone who had nothing to do with the attack. They will pass draconian measures that will strip the American people of what few rights they have left. The dims are salivating at the prospect. And, oh: that Second Amendment thing the left is so uncomfortable with? That will be the first thing the dims suspend. But it will be over my dead body.
