Edwards described the arresting officer as intelligent and professional, and he expected the "learning experience" would not be wasted on him.

With judgment this poor, he shouldn't be given the chance to have a "learning experience". He should be summarily dismissed from the force.

The officer needs to be fired, and Edwards needs his a$$ kicked off the payroll immediately. This is elderly abuse and should be reported to the local protective services office. If no relief, contact the ombudsman at the state level.
