Great post. I especially like the line above. I don't recognize the names of the individuals named above, but I did want to point out that Jehovah's Witnesses also had to confront this inconvenient little hiccup in their ideology. I'm not sure how they weaseled their way around it. I just wanted to point it out to you and to get it on the record that there were others who had the same issue.
This is not to say that JWs do not have other, more serious issues of error than finding the European Common market, nuclear bombs, chemical warfare andCobra Helicopter gunships in Revelation. In fact, while dispensationalists believe stupid and unbiblical things, they do not believe soul destroying and damning things like denying the deity of Christ and the reality of the spiritual rebirth.
