Without in any way trying to minimize the historic crimes of Catholics against Jews, if what you say is true, why is it that of the 15 million Jews in the world today, there are 9 million in Israel, 6 million in historically Catholic countries, and exceedingly few --- less than 50,000 --- in majority-Muslim nations?
Historically Jews have suffered greatly at the hands of the nations among whom they lived. Today the Catholic world repents such crimes and calls them them evil and shameful. And the Muslim world applauds such crimes, acquires the means for the extermination of Israel, and relentlessly prepares to finish the Shoah.
And, there are not 6 million Jews in historically Catholic countries.

As you can see, Jews have been driven out of almost every country across the world except the United States and Israel. Jews fear the new rising tide of anti-semitism. Frankly, the postings about the Latin Mass, as quick as folks around here have been to say. $&#@$ the Jews.. is completely disturbing.
The dropping of the call for conversion of the Jews in the Catholic Mass has been a great comfort.. and if the prayers are not updated.. then the return to this.. is a return to the worst nightmares of the Jews.
Ultimately, this is also a return of other nightmares, because, this could be used as a wedge by Islam to break Jewish and Christian relations.
Now, I don't understand why the ADL would come out so hard.. rather than asking about the one service.. that is problematic.
Someone is trying to build this crisis..
Reform Jewish Congregations have been returning to Hebrew Prayers for years now.. and it shouldn't be surprising at all that the Catholic Church should want to return to Latin Masses.
Folks remember the good old days, when the Church was Venerated, and when people loved and respected their Priests, and they want that back. Latin won't fix all of these problems, but it signals more strength and less relativism and a turning point.. to sweep away the nightmares of the current situation.
Real change still needs to be implemented, but the Pope is no dummy. He is heading somewhere with this.. and facing the threat of Radical Islam requires that Jewish and Christian communities find ways to stay together and focused on the challenge at hand.
