Yes, and we don’t. The Mexican government is looking out for the best interests of Mexicans, by our government is not looking out for the best interests of Americans. Our government, instead, seems to be looking out for the best interests of Mexicans, as well. We could put a quick stop to a lot of this by simply putting a confiscatory tax on all the money sent to Mexico through businesses such as Western Union, say 50 percent.
